about the instructor

Yasmeen Maldonado is a multidisciplinary dancer, choreographer and aerial artist based in Bali, with a foundation in classical ballet, jazz and contemporary dance. Her work combines technical precision with fluidity, musicality and contemporary movement quality.

She teaches heels and movement artistry at Drip Studio, performs professionally with La Joia, RévARTE Entertainment and Drip Productions, and has appeared at international events including Formula 1 Amber Lounge and Dior.

Her classes focus on building strong technical foundations while encouraging dancers to move with intention, confidence and authenticity.

    Oh where should I begin… do you know the feeling when you step inside a new dance studio and feel nervous about it? Yas would be that girl who’d instantly make you feel comfortable. She has that rare gift of beautiful, creative energy - mixed with incredible talent. She makes everyone feel welcome, encourages us to ask questions, feel no shame about anything… her classes are structured starting with a juicy warmup, then for the choreo part she explains things down to the smallest detail.
